Remodeling Project Manager

$65,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Oversee remodeling projects from planning, estimating, and scheduling projects, assigning work, and expediting performance by the efficient organization of material, labor, subcontractors, and equipment before and during projects
• Manage field crew by providing supervision, effective communication, and conducting onsite meetings with personnel and subcontractors.

• Represent the company as the point of contact for inspectors, architects, engineers, government officials, suppliers, neighbors, and clients
• Client Interfacing: Delivering a great customer experience for our clients with communications and meetings
• Project Finances: Adherence to budget, invoices, change orders, allowances, selections
• Subcontractor Administration; payments, invoices, and billing

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager/Superintendent in the remodeling industry.
• 5-10 years as a carpenter
• Proven track record of supervising construction work, both subcontractors and employees
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Able to create and maintain organized systems, multitask, and fulfill administrative responsibilities
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proven record of positive interaction with clients and prospects
• Proficiency in (or able to quickly become proficient in) Buildertrend, Microsoft Office, Google Suites, and more
• Multi-disciplinary expertise in residential construction materials and techniques
• Able to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floor plans
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Professional references available

Nice to haves:

• Own a car with a clean driving record.
• On special occasions, willing to work weekends/after-hours for emergencies and to meet project milestones.
• Construction experience (started from the bottom)

Salary and Benefits:

• Full-time
• Salary at $65,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
